Sanding gesso on my current project. It's icy outside. I thought this, close up, could be for skating on.
Lesson: It can be a powerful thing, making something, and if it is made with great care and love, the object seems to carry within it, more than what it is simply made of. I've always felt that, and giving things I've made to others is a way of expressing myself to them. Today I heard that one such object was deliberately damaged, and that is equally powerful. But I'll make more.
