This week has been a week of bugs. I've been asked to carve insects and bugs onto eight oak posts for a school playground. I've assumed that 'bugs' is a sub species of 'insects'. Green oak (unseasoned) is lovely to carve, softer than seasoned oak, which is just as well because I have to fit 32 images into a tight budget.
